Ivan Somyk

Ivan Somyk, the founder and President of CWI, is committed to continuously improving business processes and customer service satisfaction. Ivan has been gaining industry experience since 1988 when he began his career as a repair technician for American Computer Repair, performing component-level repairs on printed circuit boards. Ivan expanded his knowledge when he began working for the Micro Exchange Corporation, selling spare computer parts to service companies and corporate end-users. Recognizing a need and utilizing his industry knowledge and experience, Ivan decided to begin his own business. He started Computer Wholesaler Incorporated (CWI) in 1994. Originally, CWI specialized in only brokering spare parts but has since evolved into an IT equipment remarketing company. CWI now serves leasing companies and value added resellers. Ivan now oversees and manages growing business operations for four locations, 95,000 square feet of warehouse space, and 50 employees. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Penn State University and an Associate of Applied Science degree from Lincoln Technical Institute.

Taras Somyk

Taras Somyk is the general manager responsible for guiding a team of experienced managers, sales, and business development reps. After starting his career with CWI in 1997 at the Hackettstown, NJ facility he moved to Tempe, Arizona to open the 2nd location in 2003 where he currently resides. Prior to joining CWI, he worked as a Financial Advisor for Bank of America and National Westminster Bank. Taras currently serves on the board of directors for CWI which is owned by First Capital Partners and Palladian Capital. Taras graduated with a BS in business administration from Bloomsburg University.
